Privacy

Updated September 2026.

Maré Alta doesn't ask for an account, an email or a login. Your progress is stored on the iPhone itself.

What stays on the device

Records (per route and direction), points, shells, missions and level, collection, Sail of the month and settings (language, volumes, haptics) are saved locally on the iPhone. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.

Rewarded ads

Ads are optional and only show when you choose to watch one: to get +10 s of sun, double shells or progress the Sail of the month. They are served by Google AdMob, which may collect device data under its own policy and only uses the advertising identifier if you allow tracking when iOS asks. Where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent, and you can change your choice in Settings › Ad options.

Purchases

The Shop isn't open yet. When it opens, purchases will go through the App Store: Apple processes the payment and the game only receives the confirmation, to unlock the item and let you restore it.

Game Center

Not in the game yet. When it arrives, Apple will only receive your records for leaderboards and achievements if you connect Game Center, under Apple's privacy policy.

What we don't do

We don't sell data, we don't build profiles, and we don't ask for access to photos, contacts, location or microphone.

Children

The game doesn't ask anyone for personal data, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
